Shmuela Etz (she/her) is a native Missourian with membership in the Jewish reform movement. She has experience working with individuals with disabilities in community and school settings, as well as working with families and youth in non-profit and religious settings. She holds a master’s degree in human development and family sciences. She holds a reservoir of research and insight into the intersectionalities of diversity and how they influence belonging and community.  

Shmuela Etz is deeply committed to fostering inclusivity and belonging by advocating for disability justice, LGBT2QIA+ inclusion, and the Jewish community. She utilizes Jewish values in her work to create spaces where diverse identities are celebrated and supported. Through her professional experience with individuals with disabilities, families, and youth, Shmuela aims to break barriers, challenge societal norms, and advocate for Jews and Israel. 

Passionate about tikkun olam and global justice, she strives to form a platform that advances both social justice and Jewish pride, contributing to lasting systemic change.
